👋 About Me
Hey there! I'm Zalan, a programmer who enjoys breaking things, fixing them (sometimes), and writing code that makes computers question their existence.
💻 What I Do
I write code. A lot of it. Some of it actually works. My primary language of choice is Lua with LOVE2D, because simplicity is key… until I decide to overcomplicate things with my own libraries.
I spend most of my time building projects that range from "actually useful" to "this should be illegal in five countries." I specialize in **fast, lightweight, and questionably designed software**, because bloat is a crime, and I refuse to apologize for that.
🛠 My Glorious Creations
Some of my *functional* (keyword: functional) projects include:
- Guified - A GUI library for LOVE2D. Because `love.graphics.print()` isn't enough.
- myDB - A JSON-based DBMS for when SQL feels like overkill.
- daFaK - Duct-tape And Fix-it Kit, a set of tools that might fix your issue... or make it worse.(NOT OUT)
- Unnamed Linux Distro - Because the world obviously needs another one.(NOT OUT)
🐧 My Setup (For the Nerds)
- **OS:** Arch Linux (btw). No, I will not switch to Ubuntu.
- **Editor:** Anything but Emacs (NeoVim and VsCode).
- **Debugging Strategy:** `print()` spam and hope.
🎯 My Philosophy
I strongly believe that:
- **Software should be lightweight.** If your app takes 2GB of RAM to say "Hello, World," delete it.
- **Frameworks are traps.** If you can't do it in raw code, do you *really* know what you're doing?
- **Error messages should be entertaining.** If my program crashes, at least you'll get a good laugh.
- **Simplicity > Bloat.** If my code runs faster than yours, I win.
🔥 What I'm Working On
Right now, I'm busy maintaining my **Neocities site**, experimenting with **more questionable programming ideas**, and working on my **own Linux distro** that nobody asked for. Because if Red Hat can do it, why can't I?
📡 Where to Find Me
If you actually want to contact me (not recommended), here's how:

💀 Final Words
If you somehow found my projects useful, I salute you. If they crashed your system, that's a skill issue. Either way, thanks for stopping by.
